JUNE 4TH GARDEN CLUB MEETING:
On June 4th we are going to the Green Acres Nursery in Folsom.
We will have a tour of the nursery and a talk from one of the employees about drought-tolerant plants and good choices for our elevation.
We will gather in the parking lot there at 9:15, as the tour starts at 9:30.
The tour will last for half an hour, till 10:00, and then we will meet for the talk, which will also last about a half hour. We will have a short meeting after the talk. There will no Team Reports this time so please refer to the Bloomin News for information. Please call or email Pat Weidman (refer to your DGC Roster) so I can give Green Acres a head count by Friday, May 30th.
DIRECTIONS: Take East Bidwell off Hwy 50; turn right on Iron Point Road; go to the 2nd light, turn right on Serpa Way, you can’t miss it.
Make your own plans for car-pooling, and lunch is on your own too. There are MANY good restaurants nearby.
Frank Fats, on the corner of East Bidwell and Iron Point, Olive Garden, is just a short way down Iron Point, on the left. Several restaurants are in the Palladio, Red Robin, Panera Bread, and several more
Hope you can make it! Thanks,
