President Maureen Julian opened the meeting at 12:20pm

Pat Schoggins reported on Penny Pines – We had enough money to seed 2 acres plus $13 from the last meeting. We collected $16.05 today.
May minutes: Jeri Hartman moved; Carol McNamara 2nd. Approved.
Treasurer Kay Campbell reported we have $3530.24.
Old Business:
DGC 55th Anniversary Dinner – last day to sign up and pay – Friday 6/3. 29 people have signed up so far. Choral will look into getting a sheet cake to serve at the dinner.
Team Reports:
Garden – June is normally when Pinewood Memorial Garden is cleaned up; it looks like someone has been raking. Deadheading of Daffodil Hill will be in August. Sly Park’s planting is done. Library maintenance – Deanna and Jamie just finished, Sandra will do June and is organizing the big clean-up, which is scheduled for June 14th at 8:30 a.m., bring gloves, rake and water. Lajunta and Tami were added to the list of people already signed up to help out.
Leslie was contacted by Carol Ann Lancaster about taking over maintaining the post office landscaping; Leslie will do but would like help.
Program Team –Kay Campbell is hosting the July meeting at Mira Flores Winery at 11 am. Members can order sandwiches, salad and dessert from Allez; check for lunch needs to be received by 6/22.
Fundraising/Philanthropy Team – Thanks to everyone for cards, stamps and pens. We took all non-holiday cards to Western Slope in Placerville placed in a nice box so the residents can have access to them. Some residence may need help with writing out cards, we will be asking for DGC volunteers to help with this. Western Slope will address and stamp so all the stamps we collected will go to the club for newsletter distribution.
Sunshine Team – Marian Majestic is your host for the birthday luncheon on June 8th at California Kitchen, 11:30. Birthdays – Kay Campbell, Chris Whitby and Virginia Bane. Barbara Mahach’s surgery was postponed. Doris Morley’s eye surgery went well.
The meeting was adjourned around 12:50.
