Dear Prospective New Member:
You have expressed an interest in joining the Dogwood Garden Club of Pollock Pines. We are a non-profit organization of local women and men established in 1961 for the purposes of promoting local interest in gardening, the beautification of Pollock Pines, California, and supporting the continued excellence of the Pollock Pines Library.
We are a group that values making new friends, raising money to support our local charities, library and schools. Since 2012 The Dogwood Garden Club has raised over $13,000 by hosting book and bake sales, tea parties, raffles and craft fairs. We enjoy taking field trips to gardens, museums and historical buildings as well as having potlucks and interesting guest speakers. Members are encouraged to participate in the planning and implementation of activities.
Attached is a New Member Application form. The DGC dues are $30 per calendar year, and are due no later than December 31st of each year. The Club’s newsletter, Bloomin’ News is distributed via e-mail. If you do not have access to email, it can be mailed for an additional $15 (10 issues).
If you would like to join our interesting and fun-loving group, please
