MINUTES

Location: Sierra Springs Clubhouse

Speakers: Brook Sobol of Heartland Vintage Market, Cameron Park – Chalk Painting

Meeting called to order by Norma Ray at 12:45 p.m.

  1. Pledge of allegiance led by Marilu Blau
  2. Request for additional Agenda Items – None
  3. Minutes from June 2017 Meeting
    1. Moved to approve, Janet Sullivan – Seconded, Becky Mcintyre
    2. Motion Approved by attending members
  4. Introduction of Guests and New Members – None
  5. Treasurer’s Report
    1. Total at end of June $3,061.07
    2. Owe $20 to Pollock Pines Community Center
  6. Old Business

    1. 7/25/17 – 11:00 to 2:00 at Sylvia’s house
  4. Fund Raising
    1. Pickers and Peddlers Fair – Sunday, August 27, 2017, at Back Roads Barn (Mary Bourn)
      1. DGC asked to set up croquet on lawn
      2. Three raffle baskets will be contributed
      3. Craft Team will be manning booth from 8:30 to 4:30 p.m.
        1. Need Volunteers
      4. Other activities: Face Painting, Food Trucks, Live Music, 50/50 Raffle
    2. Holiday Craft Fair – Norma Ray, Lexa Mack, Joyce Harris
      1. November 19 – PP Community Center
      2. Vendor Booths $15 – $10 to Community Center, $5 to DGC
      3. Food
    3. Teri Munyon asked if the club members were interested in signing Memory Books for Archives. Books are in storage.  No point in signing.
