Hello Ladies,
Hopefully Spring/Summer is here! It’s been a wild few weeks of warm and cold weather!
Our May meeting had 26 in attendance with two new members joining us, Theresa Magnuson and Cindy Callaghan. Welcome ladies!!
Our day at the High Sierra Iris & Wedding Gardens was a wonderful warm day with an outstanding venue to be at. Nestled in the hills in Camino, our gathering area with its pond was beautiful. Owner Nancy gave up a presentation on Iris’s and there were many colors of them to purchase.
Our meeting ended with our raffle. Members Mary Ann Trijullo, for her husband’s company JM Electric, Carol Game, Lexa Mack (a book she wrote) & Debbie Bybee-Crumpley donated items. Thank you everyone!!

Gardens – Team Leader Jan Roman-Gonzales has been working with the garden committee. They met in April at the Sly Park entrance garden beds, pulled out the thorny wild roses and dead plants. They went back and planted irises and marigolds. They have checked on the Pine School Memorial Garden, Old School Daffodil Hill and Judy Morgan Iris Garden for what’s needed.
Shed Project – The Shed Project Team met last Friday at the shed to prep it for paint. It was scrapped and hubby’s Steve Laam & Bill Simonson repaired the door. It will be power washed soon. The ladies also cleaned the inside, going through the totes and reorganizing the shed. Looks awesome and items will be easier to find!
