Greetings Fellow DGCers!
It’s August and it’s finally cooled off! The cool weather didn’t come in time for the August DGC meeting but it was still pretty nice in the shade at Boeger Winery. A big thank you to Allison for making the arrangements and to Boeger Winery for hosting us. The meeting was well attended and although long, we got through a very full agenda with lots of discussion.
I want to thank Carol Game and Debbie Bybee-Crumpley for agreeing to be co-coordinators for the bake sale and Becky Lamoly for agreeing to be the coordinator of the raffle at the craft fair in November. I’m very grateful to the 3 of you for stepping forward. Now all we need is a secretary and treasurer for next year’s board! New members are welcome to be on the board. It’s a great way to get to know the club and put in your 2 cents worth.
I hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer. I’m looking forward to the progressive lunch and garden tour and Fall!
