Coordinators for 2025– We need someone to do publicity for the Christmas Craft Fair. Flyers are already created they will need to be sent out to the vendors so that they may share them with those who follow them. The publicity person would need to hang flyers around town, coordinate FB and Next Door postings with Maureen, make signs, (if no permanent ones have been ordered), and help Jan put signs up the day before the event. Questions about this position may be sent to Norma Ray.

Christmas Craft Fair: Nov.14th and 15th . Emails have been sent out to the vendors who participated previously. Elva Rizzo has added new vendors who are interested in becoming vendors to the list. Vendors must respond by Sept. 26th if wanting to participate.
The date has been moved to a week sooner than typical as was requested by the community center. We did not guarantee that we can always do it two weekends before Thanksgiving as we will always have to ensure that it does not conflict with the vendors who also sell at Apple Hill.
Christmas Party – Reservations have been made at Apple Mtn. Golf Course for our annual Christmas Party. It will be Dec. 3rd.
Other Business:
Post Office Clean Up- Debbie, Sue, Theresa and her husband weeded the post office. A question was posed as to shall we add this as something we do annually?
Sidetrippers are trips out and about, sometimes outside of the El Dorado County Area. If you would like to invite others in the group to join you on an outing you are planning just email Becky L. to add it to the Sidtrippers List that will be sent out once a month with the Mtg. Minutes.
Karen Duncan shared that there was to be a Pollock Pines Design Meeting tonight at the Community Center to discuss that a Chevron Gas Station was in the planning stages to take over where Napa Auto Parts is.
A thank you was shouted out for all those who have been helping keep the library yard clean.
Friends of the Library Book Sale will be this month on Friday August 29th in front of the Pollock Pines Safeway
Carol Game suggested that we make it mandatory in our bylaws that members must participate in projects and or fund raisers a minimum of twice in a given year. The Shakespeare Club requires participation from their members. Since 2019 the DGC bylaws have not been updated and Theresa said that there are other areas in the bylaws that should be discussed regarding updating them.
