The Dogwood Garden Club of Pollock Pines is a non-profit organization established in 1961 to promote local interest in gardening, the beautification of Pollock Pines, and provide support for many community-based services. Our focus includes the Pollock Pines Library, the Boys & Girls Club, local schools, youth groups, and service and charitable organizations. Our organization has received many awards for its active community involvement.
What We Do
Not only do we provide valuable services to our local community, we also have a really good time! We meet the first Wednesday morning of each month at various locations. Our meeting programs consist of field trips to nurseries, public and private gardens, museums, local and surrounding points of interest, etc. We also have speakers on timely subjects or other interests as the membership suggests. We often have lunches at private homes or restaurants. Membership is a great way to help your community and make new friends! We are the largest active Pollock Pines community-based organization with over 70 members. All ages are welcome! There is a modest annual membership fee.
