Garden Team
We met on October 15th at Ship Shape to discuss tasks for the rest on 2014.  We also agreed to let the Community Garden go for 2015 and concentrate our efforts at keeping the new library reading area plants and patio cleaned up during the whole year instead of just a big clean up in the spring.  The following ladies have taken a month;  Doris Morley-Nov., Sandra Morgan- Dec., Norma Ray-Jan., Sylvia Hamblin- Feb., Leslie Sinclair- March., Anne Mintmier- Apr., Sue Granno- May, Jan Teichman- June, Barbara Mahach- July.  We will still have a major clean up in April or May depending on the weather.  Marilyn Johnson and myself will fill in as needed.  Thank you to all who have volunteered so far.
Marilyn Johnson and I scattered wild flower seeds along the middle of Daffodil Hill.  Hopefully, these will bloom next year and reseed themselves in future years.
Tom and Nancy Schultz volunteered to continue to clean up and plant the entrance to Sly Park Lake again next spring.
We will plant more Daffodils next fall.
