Hello Ladies,
Where is our Summer! I guess next week, but we welcome the late rains we’ve received.
Our June meeting had 31 in attendance with one member rejoining us (Carol Osborne) and one new member, Cindy Callaghan. Welcome ladies!!
A big thank you to Bob & Carol Game for hosting our meeting in their beautiful backyard. This meeting was another wonderful potluck!
A presentation was given by Robin Lynde with Meridian Jacob Sheep Farm on turning sheep wool into yarn. It was a very interesting process. She brought several foot driven spinners and looms to show the process of the wool to yarn, dying of the yarn with plants and flowers. Looms to show the different kinds of weaving. She brought different kinds of woven blankets, hats, scarves. Absolutely beautiful. All were available for purchase which many members did.
