President’s Message
Dear LOVING, SUPPORTIVE, GIVING, MEMBERS,
Our Fundraising Tea event with the Pollock Pines Friends of the Library on May 23rd was such a celebration of JOY! The Table Scapes were absolutely stunning. They set the tone for a beautiful venue. We have such creative members who brought their talents along with their friends to enjoy the day; hope you all got a chance to see Pat Lakey’s article in the Mountain Democrat. The Tea raised $2,300.for the LORA PROJECT and my sincere, heartfelt gratitude goes to each and every one who helped make this event so successful.
We are heading into the mid part of the year with interesting programs to follow. Our July meeting at Palassandro Winery will be about what is planned for the rest of the year. It is also time to start thinking about Officers for next year’s Board. I would encourage all of our members to take a turn at these positions and bring your talents to this very established, productive, club.
Time to see some new faces in these positions; we are 72 members STRONG!
See you in July!
Mary Bourn

A huge amount of thanks go to the event manager, Mary Bourn, and the decorating and raffle teams.
