A special thank you to the Pollock Pines Community Church for hosting us and Sandra Morgan for reserving the church and coming in early to help set up to get things going, and to volunteer Carey Stewart with the HEM program and who is also their Kitchen manager, he set up the tables & chairs and made the coffee. Thank you Carey!!

? President – Vacant
? Vice President – Allison Knight

Thank you to outgoing President Debbie Bybee-Crumpley (2 years), Vice President Carol Game (2 years), Secretary Barbara O’Sullivan and Treasurer Maryann Trujillo! THANK YOU for your dedication and support for our club!!
IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ
This brings us to the status of our club. With no current nomination/volunteer for President, what is the future of our club? If no President is elected, what do we do? We are a registered Non-Profit that needs a board. If no board, we need to have the conversation of the club disbanding.
Here is my proposal – I have done 2 years. I will offer to be Co-President if someone will step forward to be President. I have e-files I will download onto a flash drive for both years and hard copy binders for both years. Easy to follow, I will help you along the way and consult where/when needed. You must be able to use a computer, basic stills, and be organized.
Usually there is no meeting in January as the new board uses this month as a planning month for the upcoming year. SO…..
There will be a SPECIAL EMERGENCY MEETING held on Wednesday, January 10th, 11:00 am, hopefully at the church. Look for an email soon confirming that. At this meeting hopefully we will be able to announce or someone at the meeting will volunteer for the position of President and we can hold elections. If not, there will be a discussion on what we do. PLEASE ATTEND THIS MEETING. Should only take about an hour.
Our community organizations will be affected with our yearly contributions if we do not survive.
If our club is to continue, we will resume our meetings in February with our Annual Potluck at the church, February 7, 2024.
We are remaining hopeful that we will have a board…
